When the QR code above is read by free reader software, it directs the user to our telephone number and also gives them the option of adding our number to their address book. This is one of many ways QR codes can help you interact with your customers.

QR codes represent the future of marketing communication by merging print communication with online communication.QR Codes can be incorporated into traditional marketing collateral (business card, poster, ad, billboard, website, t-shirt, etc) or they can be used with direct mail campaigns. Cell phones must have a QR code reader application intstalled in order to read a code. It takes very little time for someone with an iPhone or smartphone to find and install the reader. A few free iPhone readers are MobileTag, QR app, i-nigma, and iCodeYou. If you are using a Blackberry mobile device, BeeTagg and NeoReader applications are popular. There are many other applications out there, so if you have a smartphone, do a quick search for a reader that is made for your cellphone.
